"First off, I would like to say thank you for the wonderful and relaxing experience we had on Valentine's Day. My husband and I have never been to a spa nor have we ever had professional massages. We loved every minute of it all!!! You have such a courteous and professional staff at your business and we definitely are going to be coming back in the future. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxing. At first my husband was skeptical when it came to going to a spa. He thought it was only for women--UNTIL he got his massage. He has back problems and he said that the entire Wine and Roses package helped alleviate his daily aches and pains and take care of his stress! He also said that we are going to update our budget and allot money for spa dates every month."

Pamela Vaught, LMT, owner of Bodyworks Day Spa
Founded Bodyworks in 1997. Pam no longer accepts appointments for massage therapy-except in emergency situations. Pam is a certified aromatherapist and herbalist. She is an expert in the Bare Escentuals mineral makeup and md formulations skin care. Contact her at info@bodyworksdayspa.net
Donna Lamb, LMT, NCTMB
Joined the Bodyworks Staff in 2001. Donna is a graduate of Utah School of Massage Therapy- She is nationally certified. Donna specializes in Prenatal Massage and Infant Massage. She recently became certified in Swe-Thai massage. She is a member of American Massage Association and has 7 years experience in massage therapy.
Mary Kay Banks, LMT, RMT
Joined the Bodyworks Staff in 1998. Mary Kay is a 1991 graduate of Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin, Texas. Mary Kay has 17 years experience as a massage therapist and primarily works with headaches, chronic pain, injuries, lymphedema and fibromyalgia. Her massage is a combination of Swedish and Myofascial & neuromuscular release. Extremely relaxing! Prior to attending massage school, Mary Kay worked as a chiropractic assistant for 12 years. She really understands the structure of the body! She has special training in the Foldi technique of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and can provide results for edema and lymphedema patients. Mary Kay is our massage therapy supervisor/trainer.
Katie Gutjahr, LMT, NCTMB
Joined the Bodyworks Staff in 2005. Katie worked the Front Desk and as Assistant Manager while attending MTTI - Massage Therapy Training Institute in Kansas City. Katie joined the massage staff in January of 2007. In September 2007, she relocated to Springfield and worked at a Day Spa. In July 2008, Katie returned to Bodyworks. She is an outstanding SPA therapist and gives very relaxing massages and excellent deep tissue work.
Nick Rhodes, LMT, NCTMB
Joined the Bodyworks staff in 2006. Nick is a 2006 graduate of Metro Business College. Nick served 6 years in the Army National Guard and was All District & All Conference in Football and Weight Lifting in high school. Nick is excellent in Sports and Deep Tissue Massage with an emphasis on pain relief and injury recovery.
Barbara Noble, LMT, NCTMB
Joined Bodyworks in 2006. Barbara is a 2005 graduate of Heritage College earning an Associated of Occupational Studies degree in Therapeutic Massage. Barbara worked in Excelsior Springs for a year before joining Bodyworks. Barbara gives a very nice firm massage and is an excellent choice for deep tissue work.
Jana Mahnken, LMT, NCTMB
Joined Bodyworks in 2007. Jana is a 2006 graduate of Massage Therapy Training Instutite of Kansas City-one of the most prestigious schools in the U. S. and gives an excellent firm massage. She plans to pursue a career in medical massage.
Stacy Durbin, LMT, NCTMB
Joined Bodyworks in 2007. Stacy is a graduate of A Gathering Place Massage School, Maryland Heights, MO. She has 525 hours of massage and bodyworks training, specializing in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. Stacy is a certified LaStone Therapist and is also trained in trigger point therapy, Trager work, Esalen massage and neuromuscular therapy. Stacy is a part time therapist and full time Missouri Air National Guard recruiter stationed at WAFB.
Douglas Lewis, NCTMB, LMT
Joined Bodyworks in 2008. Doug is a graduate of Massage Therapy Training Institute in Kansas City and also holds an Associates Degree of Health Sciences. Doug has 2 years experience in Massage Therapy having worked with Body Dynamics Chiropractic in Lee's Summit, MO. He is very talentedwith Deep Tissue and Trigger Point worked but also is excellent for Swedish Massage, Eastern Bodyworks, Sports Massage and Reflexology.
Denise Burton, Licensed Esthetician & Cosmetologist/Instructor
Joined Bodyworks Staff September 2004. Denise is a graduate of American College of Hair Design cosmetology 2002 and Esthetics 2004. She is also a licensed instructor of Cosmetology and Esthetics. In addition to skin care, Denise also enjoys doing Body Wraps, Manicures, & Pedicures. Denise loves working with people and it shows! She has 6 years experience in Cosmetology and 4 years in Esthetics. Denise is our esthetics and nail tech supervisor and trainer.
Chris Brosch, Licensed Cosmetologist
Joined the Bodyworks staff in 2007. Chris is a graduate of American College of Hair Design. Chris gives excellent manicures and pedicures, facials and facial waxing.
Jill McCutchen, Bare Escentuals Manager, Esthetician Apprentice
Joined the Bodyworks Staff in 2007. Jill is "the" expert in bareMinerals makeup and makeovers. In March 2008, Jill started her journey to become a licensed skin care professional. Jill wants to the be "best ever" in the esthetics field.
Raechel Schulze, Xtreme Lashes tm, Certified Lash Stylist, Licensed Esthetician, CIDESCO
Joined the Bodyworks Staff in 2008. Raechel has been an esthetician for 6 years and has 2 years experience as a Certified Lash Stylist. Raechel is available on Fridays for Xtreme Lashes appointments and maintenance.

Joined the Bodyworks Staff in September of 2006. Candy is bilingual Spanish/English and an expert in Bare Escentuals. She has attended a 2 day training with Bare Escentuals International Trainer, Christine Valentine. She is available Thurs and Friday until 1pm and most Saturdays.
